Porsche 924 GTP Le Mans 1980 Derek Bell

In 1980 Porsche entered  3 factory cars of the 924 depicted in three markets wearing the flag of each entrant country, Germany, UK and the USA.

Derek Bell ended up moonlighting for the American team finishing 13th overall quite an achievement for a GT car. This drive was the start of Derek's long association with Porsche and Le Mans returning the following year to win outright alongside Jacky Ickx in the Porsche 936 ( on my list to paint!).
